Back from the Island

Each summer we vacation on a narrow island. This year we rented a house right on the beach. At night we could hear the waves crash as they rolled in and feel the ocean breezes as they blew across us as we slept. With little to do other than read, sleep, cook and run, I renewed my life subscription and reaquainted myself with ...well, myself. Here's to ocean breezes.

Here, here! I second Champurado's toast to island breezes! Mr amieo and I spent two days on the water in early July. It was short, sweet and very healing for us both.

We were married on an island 9 years ago. I think our origins in rock, sand and water have helped us weather the hard times and enjoy the good ones.

Your island sounds like a piece of heaven.

Islands, schmilands. You're back. I'm glad you had a nice vacation. But yippee! You're back.

Well, the schmiland was very nice all the same. I see the drama continues...

You thought the ongoing telenovela that is my life was going to stop producing plot points? For shame. Hollywood should hire me (or at least Univision or Telemundo): I'm a one woman melodrama production facility.

Huzza, Huzza! Thank you for coming back.

But I notice your blog is all black now....that's not a mood reflection, I hope?

Foil, Innanabannana - yes, back for more. I see you've both been extra busy this past few weeks. All black is nothing more than a slip of the thumb when choosing formats for the window. Please don't make more of it than that. When my mood gets dark I'll yell something inappropriate at you. For now all is well.
